Sandy beach

With its beautiful sandy beach, the Allerpark is a particularly popular location in the summer months for anyone who simply wants to take a break from everyday life. The beach is the perfect place to lie down and relax in fine sand while you take a break and enjoy some time to yourself or with your friends or family. Be it for relaxing, sunbathing, building sandcastles or feasting on a fine picnic, the wide sandy beach and the grass areas surrounding it offer you plenty of space.

On really hot days, visitors can even freshen up by taking a dip in the cool Allersee lake. If you don’t want to lie in the sand once you’ve come out of the water, you can use one of the wooden platforms that have been installed on the beach. Guests who want to rinse off after their swim can use the showers located in the outdoor area of the red toilet building next to the beach volleyball courts.

A beach promenade that is up to six metres wide runs alongside the sandy beach and the Allersee and is excellent for a pleasant stroll through the park. In fact, its paved surface means that it is not only ideal for walkers, but also for visitors on inline skates or bicycles. Raised structures at the side of the promenade act as additional seating options for guests who want to relax and rest their feet.
